Royal Mail reduces booking times for unaddressed
Royal Mail is targeting retail clients in the run-up to Christmas by reducing the booking times for unaddressed mail campaigns.
The postal operator claims it will offer retailers “flexibility to seize on newly-identified opportunities” by booking three weeks before distribution.
This allows them to “more quickly respond to new marketing opportunities” Royal Mail claims.
Previously, the latest booking time was four weeks before a campaign was due for delivery.
The latest retailers can hand items to Royal Mail for distribution has been reduced to three working days, by arrangement, from seven days.
