Cash Converters creates head of marketing role

Cash Converters has created a new head of marketing role to build the brand’s national profile following a period of growth during the recession.

Former Allsports and Littlewoods Clearance marketer Richard Livesey will take responsibility for Cash Converters’ marketing strategy.

Cash Converters says that the new head of marketing role has been created in response to the growth of the business.

Cash Converters offers consumers the opportunity to sell used or unwanted goods for cash and a place to buy pre-owned products.

It also offers a range of financial services including pawnbroking, cash advance and personal loans.

The company currently operates more than 170 stores in the UK and is part of a network of 600 franchised stores in 21 countries.

Cash Converters calims it has reported double figure percentage increases for the last seven years,particularlly in the past two eyars.

It plans to open 25 new UK stores by the end of this year.

Livesey says: “It’s clear that Cash Converters is a dynamic brand with huge potential for expansion in the future. It really is great for me to come into the business at such an exciting time in its growth.”
