Peacocks adds marketing director role

Peacocks, the value fashion retailer, has appointed ex-La Senza marketer Lisa Bond to the newly created marketing director role.

Bond replaces Peacocks former head of marketing Richard Antrum who will leave the chain in December. Her appointment is part of a wider restructure of Peacocks marketing department.

Bond has spent five years as marketing director at La Senza and was responsible for advertising campaigns starring Tess Daly and Danielle Lineker, and a celebrity collaboration with The Pussycat Dolls.

She has also held marketing roles at Universal Music International and was head of PR at Camelot when it launched in the UK.

Peacocks was taken private by a consortium of investors in January 2006 and is currently up for sale. It has reportedly attracted two £500m bids.
Last week, Peacocks unveiled its Christmas fashion collection, its fifth collaboration developed by designer Pearl Lowe.
