Shelter campaign highlights Christmas homelessness
Shelter is launching a campaign to highlight how anyone can lose their home at Christmas.
The “Disappearing houses” campaign depicts an ordinary family exposed after their home has disappeared, and aims to show how quickly people can be made homeless.
The message is aimed at those who may need Shelter’s help in the near future, as well as those who are currently homeless.
Campbell Robb, chief executive of Shelter, claims: “Every two minutes someone in this country faces losing their home. But as the Government prepares to slash housing investment and support, there is no question this will increase in the coming months.”
Created by Leo Burnett and featuring photography by Blinkk, the campaign launches this week with Tube posters and press ads.
