Unilever appoints Ogilvy & Mather for corporate brand

Unilever, which owns brands including Dove and Persil, has appointed Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide to handle the global creative account for the Unilever corporate brand.

The agency will develop a corporate brand campaign across multiple communication channels.

Ogilvy & Mather with take over from Fallon, which handled “early strategic work” for the development of the Unilever corporate brand.

The move is part of Unilever’s ongoing strategy to raise awareness of the parent brand alongside its portfolio of consumer brands.

Last year, Unilever began incorporating its corporate brand into its packaging and brand advertising.

Ogilvy and Mather already work on Unilever’s Dove, Hellmann’s and Ponds brands.
