Miron’s promotion to global group CEO has led to the promotion of commercial director Mike Gordon to managing director, commercial to pick up some of the responsibilities currently handled by Miron.

Ashley Tabor, who will now be known as founder and executive president, says: “I made these appointments because as we continue to develop the business it’s important to ensure that the company has the right leadership structure in place for the needs of the business today, and also for the future.”

He adds: “Today, we are a significant media and entertainment business with a weekly radio audience of nearly 20 million, and successful and growing publishing and talent divisions and I am excited at the prospect of further growth in the year ahead.”

Global Radio brands include Capital, Heart and Classic FM.

The radio business is preparing to launch Capital nationally in the new year, a move that will see six of its Galaxy stations and two Hit Music stations rebranding under the Capital name.
