Britvic hires international marketing chief

Britvic has appointed former Diageo marketer Pamela Bower-Nye to the newly created international marketing director role to drive growth of its soft drink brands in Australia, Europe, Asia and North America.

Bower-Nye’s appointment follows the launch of Robinsons Fruit Shoot in Australia in November. The company is also looking to expand distribution beyond Florida, Alabama and Georgia in the US.

Other Britvic brands include Tango, Drench and J2O.

She joins from Diageo, where she was global category director for whiskey and gin brands including Bell’s and Gordon’s.

Simon Stewart, group marketing director at Britvic, says her “vast experience” of marketing global brands will help drive its “ambitious” growth plans.
