Scott-Ker replaces Terry Corby, who left to become KPMG Europe’s first chief marketing officer earlier this month. She takes the title senior vice president of marketing and communications for the UK and Ireland.

She has been with Accenture for 11 years, most recently leading marketing and communications for its Indian business.

Accenture’s marketing hit the headlines a year ago when it severed ties with golfer Tiger Woods in the wake of revelations about his private life.

The company sponsored Woods and featured him heavily in global marketing campaigns.

Accenture offers global management consulting, technology and outsourcing services. It operates in 53 countries and employs more than 200,000 people.
