Turkish Airlines puts Man Utd’s Giggs and Berbatov in the frame

Turkish Airlines has unveiled its first campaign of the year featuring Manchester United Football Club players.

Giggs, Van Der Sar and Berbatov

The airline replaced Air Asia as the team’s official carrier last year in a 3.5 year deal.

A new print and TV ad is launching today (27 January) The creative depicts Ryan Giggs, Edwin Van Der Sar, Anderson, Ji-Sung Park and Dimitar Berbatov enjoying the in-flight entertainment of a Turkish Airlines first class cabin, with Park on an interactive games console and Anderson and Berbatov playing keepy uppy.

Pictured left to right are Giggs, Van Der Sar and Berbatov. The campaign was created by Depofilm and Taylor James.

Speculation surrounds reports that Manchester United has held discussions with Qatar Holdings about buying the club.

Ji-sun Park and Ryan Giggs both recently appeared in a Smirnoff vodka campaign.
