Lynx launches TV ad for Excite following iAd debut

Unilever is launching a TV ad to promote its new Lynx Excite range, following its launch on iAd.
The ad features a beautiful female angels falling to earth set to a cover version of ’Sexy Boys’ by Fallen Angels.
The ad, created by Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) features the strapline ’New Lynx Excite, even angels will fall’.
Unilever is investing £8.32m in the global marketing campaign for the Lynx Excite range, which is targeting the Latin American and European markets.
Television activity is following up on the initial launch campaign for the range, which was carried out on Apple’s iAd mobile advertising network.
The 30-second and 60-second TV spots will launch in the UK on 3 February and are being supported by press executions and Facebook activity.
Creative was shot in Split, Croatia, and is meant to represent ’a picturesque European town’.
