Vodafone launches biggest ever SME-focused campaign
Vodafone is rolling out its biggest ever marketing campaign for small to medium businesses.
The multi million pound advertising campaign aims to communicate how smaller businesses can “play with the big boys” and save costs with its One Net service.
The new campaign will appear on radio, print and digital, using humorous messaging such as a sign for “Kev’s cabs” on a high-rise office building (pictured) to communicate that small businesses can appear larger using One Net.
The first radio ads will broadcast tomorrow (22 February), featuring the strapline “to help grow your business go to www.vodafone.co.uk”.
One Net allows business owners to link their landline numbers to their mobiles to ensure they do not miss important calls. It also helps businesses appear closer to its customer base by providing local area codes, even if a business is not situated in that particular town.
According to Forrester Research, 50% of workers experience project delays on a weekly basis because a key decision maker cannot be reached.
In Europe Vodafone’s One Net already has over 1 million customers and expects to add another 175,000 UK businesses to its service by 2015.
Director of brand marketing Danielle Crook says: “This sector is important to reach as the growth of the UK economy is so tied to small businesses and competiveness within that market.”
