Chris Lodge, head of customer data and insight at EDF Energy, has signed up to round off day one of the two-day conference, taking place on 8-9 June 2011 at Chateau du Lac, Brussels. His speech will address the use of data to improve bespoke communications, and the role of behavioural targeting in tailoring messages to particular customer groups.

He will draw on a case study of EDF’s efforts to improve its segmentation and to communicate better with customers in debt.

Also on board are two new sponsors: data management company Callcredit and marketing services provider Communisis.

The Marketing Week Data Summit brings together senior data and marketing professionals to network, share information and generate ideas through workshops and conference sessions led by industry experts.

Attendance and accommodation are free to data and marketing professionals controlling budgets of at least £100,000 a year. More details can be found at www.thedatasummit.co.uk.
