Reckitt bolsters marketing for SSL push

Reckitt Benckiser has added 20 marketers to its UK team to help develop recently acquired SSL brands Durex and Scholl.

The FMCG company has expanded its marketing department from 70 people to 90. The sales team has also grown to more than 170.

RB, which also owns the Dettol and Cillit Bang brands, has also created trade marketing director, category marketing director for health and personal care and national sales director roles.

Internal appointees Chris Rudd, Refik Oner and Stefan Gaa respectively will fill the roles.

A spokesperson says the restructure acknowledges “two new global power brands”.
