Mercedes Benz appoints marketing director
Mercedes Benz has appointed former Volkswagen marketing director David George to the same role.
He replaces Ian Dutfield, who is taking on the after sales director role within the marque’s commercial vehicles division.
George will join the Daimler owned car manufacturer on 1 May.
The move is part of a reshuffle of Mercedes Benz’ marketing team, which is thought to include a number of additional moves within the team.
Last year, Mercedes unveiled a new global brand strategy “the best or nothing” to underscore its ambition to lead and highlights its latest product and technology innovations.
