Audi unveils Champions League final ad

German car marque Audi is launching a 3D ad starring two-time Le Mans winner Allan McNish in its latest ad that will broadcast during the Champions League Final.

The “A Day in the Life of an Audi Driver” ad was created by BBH, The multi-million pound integrated campaign will feature Audi UK’s first 3D TV spot and will be supported by cinema, print and online activity.

The two and half minute ad will break during ITV’s live coverage of the Champions League Final on Saturday May 28 and be rolled out in 3D during Sky’s live coverage.

Audi is also producing a special app for iPads, iPhones and other smartphones.

Audi UK national communications manager Eve Tyers says: “This film, our first-ever about Le Mans, shows the human side of what it is like to take part in the race and the strength of the Audi teamwork that has brought such great success over the past decade.”
