Oh what a night!

The great and good of the marketing world joined us at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London last Tuesday for the annual Marketing Week Engage Awards.

What a night indeed! The atmosphere was electric from the start, fuelled by host Chris Evans, who ran a completely unprompted auction that raised more than £9,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in the first seven minutes of the evening. (A special thank you to Alison Hoad of Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe who made a huge bid to spend the day with the broadcasting legend).

There was also top class entertainment provided by the Alice Russell Band, hip-hop legend and comedian Doc Brown and Pop-Up Radio’s Paul Noble DJ-ing for a packed dance floor until 2am.

But it was the brands that provided the real star quality. Costa, M&S, Nike, Facebook, Sky, The Economist, Kleenex and Santander were among the winners. The 2011 Engage Awards in association with YouGov, had already seen a record number of more than 600 entries. Another record was smashed when 1,542 of you packed into the glittering venue to help celebrate the best marketing has to offer. Hope you enjoyed it!
