The Love Food, Give Food logo, created by Dare, will appear on both the charity’s annual Eat In and Eat Out campaigns.

The Eat In campaign aims to encourage supporters to host dinner parties and ask their guests to make a donation to Action for Hunger via online fundraising site JustGiving.

Action for Hunger will send hosts that sign up to the campaign dinner party packs including invitations, name cards and recipes.

The Eat Out campaign is aimed at encouraging restaurants, pubs and cafes to add the ’Love Food, Give Food’ logo to their menus.

It also hopes to encourage consumers to eat at over 500 participating restaurants, including the Carluccio’s and Geronimo Inn chains, which can add a discretionary donation to each bill, name a dish on the menu and donate to the charity every time it is ordered, or donate a percentage of sales during September and October.

The Eat In campaign will run throughout the summer. Eat Out will run in the autumn.
