Livebookings elevates marketer as part of growth strategy

Restaurant bookings and marketing services company Livebookings has promoted marketer Celia Pronto to a new role as part of a senior management shake up.

Pronto, who was managing director of consumer marketing at its Bookatable division, takes the title of vice president of marketing at the parent company.

Other changes include the appointment of Guy Halfhead from KickApps as vice president of sales and the promotion of co-founder and chief sales officer Chris Persson to the new role of president for the US.

Pronto joined Livebookings in November 2010 from STA Travel and takes on responsibility for global consumer acquisition and retention, brand development and marketing and communications.

CEO of livebookings Colin Tenwick says: “The recent announcement of our 20-millionth cover is testament to how quickly the sector is growing, and with the new strategic hires strengthening our senior management team we remain well-placed to continue pursuing our aggressive growth strategy.”

Livebookings’ marketing services help restaurants run promotions and deals and execute targeted online marketing campaigns.
