His replaces Kim Underhill who was promoted to head up the company’s European business following the departure of Giles Turrell to join Weetabix as CEO.
Wilkinson is currently director of baby and childcare for Europe and has previously held a number of marketing roles the UK and European business including heading up the company’s relationship with Tesco as well as international roles including director of advertising and positioning for Europe Middle East and Africa.
He says: ” The UK and Ireland is one of Kimberly Clark’s key European markets with a portfolio of some of the company’s best-loved brands, and a track record of leading innovation in our categories. I’m inheriting a strong team and look forward to working together with them to continue to drive the business forward.”
Kleenex is also innovating across all product categories and is preparing to launch a range of beauty products.
