Ipsos MORI recruits Nielsen chief to lead UK Marketing division

Ipsos MORI has recruited Susan Malcolm to be its managing director for its new product development and services arm Ipsos Marketing in the UK.

Malcolm has over 23 years’ experience in the market research industry, with experience in client management, research design, data analysis, marketing, sales and business analysis.

She joins from the role of MD at Bases EMEA, a division of The Nielsen Company that helps clients with forecasting techniques to estimate the sales potential of new products in development.

When she was the MD for Bases UK Malcolm played a key role in winning and developing the EMEA regional account for Coca-Cola.
She has also held senior management roles with many global companies, from Kellogg to Coca-Cola.

Ipsos Marketing also helps to reposition existing brands. Its three divisions include Consumer Goods, Industry & Services and Health & Pharmaceuticals.

DMGT warns of profit fall this year
