Celebrities join Innocent’s Big Knit
Innocent is bringing back its annual “The Big Knit” campaign, which sees its smoothie bottles adorned with woolly hats, with a celebrity twist, to boost fundraising efforts for Age UK.
This November the woolly hats have been designed by celebrities and designers in a bid to raise funds for the charity over the winter period.
For each behatted bottle sold, Innocent will donate 25p to the charity. The bottles will be available in Sainsbury’s and Boots.
Some of the celebrities and designers supporting the campaign include Heston Blumenthal, Sienna Miller, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Betty Jackson and Savannah Miller.
The Big Knit campaign has run since 2002 and has raised more than £850,000 for Age UK, which was formerly the Age Concern and Help the Aged charities, to help older people stay warm during the winter months.
This year Innocent hopes to raise more than £200,000 for the charity.
