The single will be supported by teaser trailers of the music video on YouTube as well as a Twitter competition to win a pair trainers from the new range.

The collection has been styled by Gorillaz creator James Hewlett, who has also recently drawn characters for Absolut London bottles.

A music video for the song will be released at the end of the month, while an extended version of the track will be revealed on the Gorilaz website in the next few weeks.

It is the latest track from Converse’s ongoing ‘Three Artists, 1 Song’ campaign, but is the first to promote a new trainer range. Previous collaborations have included dance punk duo, Matt & Kim, rapper Soulja Boy and songwriter Andrew W.K.

The track was unveiled as a free download on Converse’s official site on Thursday (Feb. 23).
