The American sportswear brand will replace the side’s current kit supplier Le Coq Sportif from the start of next season.
ThaiBev’s beer brand Chang, which has partnered Everton FC since 2004, is the team’s main shirt sponsor.
Everton FC’s retail partner Kitbag helped broker the deal, which sees Nike assume responsibility for designing matchday and training kits as well as producing a Nike Pro Combat range.
The tie-up will run alongside the club’s current distribution contract with Kitbag, which has been in effect since 2009 and said to be worth up to £30m.
Everton’s Nike kit will go on sale this summer and the club hopes to use the sports brand’s worldwide reach to boost sales of merchandise.
Robert Elstone, chief executive at Everton FC, says: “Following all the speculation of the past few months, we are delighted to confirm that Everton is about to kick-off a new, three-year partnership with the world’s leading sportswear brand.”
Nike’s football roster includes Barcelona, Manchester United and Inter Milan, while Brazil, France and Holland can be counted among their international clients.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
