Heinz

Jepson, who starts his role next month (1 May), will become a member of the company’s executive team.

Prior to his appointment he was director of the Heinz Explore team, the company’s innovation unit.

Jepson joined Heinz in 2008, as marketing director for its beans, kids and meals brands, from chocolate business Lindt & Sprungli, where he held a similar role. Prior to that he was at Colgate-Palmolive.

He replaces Hill who will take charge of all Heinz’s business operations in the UK and Ireland.

Hill, who also served as the company’s chief commercial officer and held marketing positions, developed the current strategy to grow its business in the UK by targeting both the premium and budget ends of the food sector.

Heinz are one of the finalists for this year’s Marketing Week Engage Awards. For more information about the event click here.
