Mumsnet offers brands extra endorsement

Mumsnet is offering brands more opportunities to get its members’ official endorsement with the revamp of its product reviews section.

Mumsnet Logo

The brands most highly-rated by Mumsnet’s users will now have the opportunity to feature a “Mumsnet Best” logo on their merchandise and marketing material. Previously this opportunity was restricted to the winners of its annual product awards.

“Mumsnet Best” brands are those that have products in the top five of any of its categories, which include household goods, cars, technology and entertainment, nursery products and travel and days out.

To qualify, a product must have been awarded an average of four stars or higher by more than ten Mumsnet members.

Brands can now submit their own products for review by a Mumsnet panel as part of the upgrade.

Mumsnet claims that over half (54%) of its users have bought a product after reading about it on the site.

The website receives more than 38 million page views each month, it claims.
