Nissan launches summer music events

Nissan is launching a summer-long programme of music events across Europe as part of its partnerships with Ministry of Sound.

Nissan Juke Box

The 12-week “Juke Box Summer Sessions” tour will visit Zomerkriebels festival in the Netherlands (7th July), the Formula Student 2012 event at Silverstone in the UK (13th July) and an event at London’s Ministry of Sound nightclub featuring the band Hadouken! later this month.

The car marque will host a series of Juke Box Sessions on Ministry of Sound’s digital radio channel, that will also be available via the Ministry of Sound iPhone app and through the Nissan Juke Facebook page.

Facebook fans of the brands will also be able to request tracks for DJs to play at the events and radio shows. It is also producing a series of behind the scenes online videos.

The partnership, which was revealed last month, centres on the Nissan Juke. Nissan claims its Nissan Juke Box is the “world’s most powerful mobile sound system” creating more than 150 decibels.

Nissan is also ramping up activity around its 100% electric car, Leaf, with a dual targeted CRM campaign aimed at both ‘green’ and ‘tech’ audiences.
