Myleene Klass defects to Littlewoods
Myleene Klass has jumped ship from Marks & Spencer to Littlewoods after agreeing a deal to front ads and co-design clothes for the online-only department store.
The TV and radio presenter is to launch a fashion collection, ahead of a lingerie and swimwear range later this year.
Gareth Jones, group retail director at parent company Shop Direct Group, says: “We couldn’t be happier to be working with Myleene, who is the epitome of a hardworking mum and admired by our customers for her style, confidence and down to earth approach.”
Klass has appeared in ads for M&S clothing for five years, most recently in the retailer’s summer ad campaign with fellow brand ambassadors Gary Barlow and Dannii Minogue.
A spokeswoman for M&S declined to comment on whether she would appear in future ad campaigns for its clothing ranges. A spokeswoman for Littlewoods, however, confirmed Klass would appear exclusively alongside current ambassador Coleen Rooney.
