Net-a-Porter appoints marketing director

Net-A-Porter has appointed former Ralph Lauren digital marketer Lisa Bridgett as sales and marketing director.

Net-A-Porter

She will take responsibility for all sales and marketing activity including customer experience and fashion content on Net-a-porter.com.

Bridgett will report to Alison Loehnis, former vice president of sales and marketing, who was promoted to managing director in December.

At Ralph Lauren Bridgett was senior director of e-commerce and digital marketing for Europe and helped launch the fashion designer’s online stores across the continent. Previously, she was global director of digital marketing at EMI Music.

The online fashion retailer recently launched an iPad app that provides daily editorial and video content alongside its latest products. It will sit alongside existing iPhone, Android an iPad apps.

Net-a-Porter competes with online fashion sites such as Asos.com, My-Wardrobe.com and Brand-Alley.

Founder Natalie Massenet sold the group to the Richemont investment group in 2010 for £350m.
