Nike names UK marketing chief

Nike has appointed its former marketing director for Northern Europe Nicole Hubbard to lead its brand building activity in the UK with a brief to increase the company’s focus on sports categories.

Sportswear business names Northern Europe marketing chief to head up its activity in the UK and Ireland.

Hubbard assumes the role of marketing director for the UK and Ireland with immediate effect and replaces Gino Fisanotti who has moved to the brand’s global headquarters in Portland, Oregon.

Hubbard will be responsible for bolstering the sportswear brand’s product offering and commercial opportunities across different sports.

She will also have oversight of the UK element of the company’s European business strategy to focus on different sports such as running, football and basketball.

Hubbard has been with the sportswear business for several years and prior to her appointment held senior roles in the US and Europe.
