JustGiving is creating 15 new marketing roles, including partnership, CRM and digital experts to join its 15-strong team. The expanded marketing team is part of JustGiving’s efforts to increase its workforce by 50 per cent from around 85 to 120 with the creation of around 40 additional roles.
JustGiving hopes to raise awareness of its brand overseas by engaging with employees of partner firms through corporate fundraising initiatives and is looking to forge partnerships with large global corporate organisations to drive its expansion in to new territories.
It currently provides a fundraising platform for charities and supporters and launched a corporate fundraising platform last year to leverage the growth in partnerships between charities and commercial organisations.
The organisation would not reveal its launch partner organisations or where it is setting up international offices, but regions are likely to include Asia-Pacific, Canada, the US and Europe.
JustGiving has been “experimenting” with small scale operations in Japan and Holland but Romain Bertrand, head of marketing at JustGiving, says it is now investing in a strategic effort to expand internationally. Its moves to date have been reactive and led by projects in the regions, he adds.
The organisation recently refreshed its brand identity with a new look logo in preparation of its business expansion.
