The ‘Christmas Made Fabulous’ ad features products from its Designers at Debenhams portfolio including Jenny Packham, Julien Macdonald and Henry Holland – and the designers themselves.
Debenhams is using the track “Illumielle” by German composer Jo Blankernburg, which has previously been used in film trailers including The Hunger Games, Harry Potter and the Deathly
Hallows, X-Men: First Class, and How To Train Your Drago, in an effort to create a “magical cinematic feel”.
The department store is also running Aurasma augmented reality enabled print ads and creating a digital site for users to share Christmas photos.
The ad, created by JWT, airs on Wednesday (7 November).
