Britvic marketer scoops Unilever ice cream role
Unilever has named former Britvic head of marketing Noel Clarke as brand building director for its ice cream division.
Clarke will head up marketing for brands including Ben & Jerry’s, Magnum and Walls’ replacing Pete Harbour who will move to Unilever’s US business.
At Britvic, Clarke headed marketing for its carbonated drinks brands including Pepsi, 7Up and Tango and has previously led marketing for Fruitshoot.
He has also held marketing roles with lager brand Foster’s, Nestlé and Weetabix.
Unilever claims to be the largest manufacturer in the £832m ice cream market in the UK.
He will report to Jon Goldstone who was recently appointed as interim vice president of brand building for foods and ice cream. Goldstone was formerly group marketing director at Premier Foods.
