Lacoste has launched an online video that envisions a future where its polo shirts contain futuristic technology to mark the 80th anniversary of the clothing item.

The advert teases several possibilities for the polo shirt of the future such as being able to resize it with a simple tug or change its colour with a swipe across the alligator logo. Another scene shows a group of people riding bikes while their shirts glow neon-bright.

At the end of the film, viewers are invited to visit a campaign site where they can submit their own ideas for a futuristic polo shirt, with the most creative suggestions being featured online.
