The category is free to enter and is aimed at seeking out the best young talent in the marketing industry. Nominations will be accepted from individuals or their employer and you can learn more here about the Marketing Week Engage Awards 2013, in assocation with YouGov.
The award will be fantastic recognition for the hard work and initiative shown by the winner – and also comes with tangible benefits. The winner will receive a money-can’t-buy mentoring experience from The Marketing Academy.
They will receive six free mentoring sessions from the academy, which is sponsored by Marketing Week, and an instant shortlisting to the telephone interview stage of the academy’s scholarship programme for 2014.
Engage Awards entries are welcome from candidates with at least three years of relevant marketing experience who have contributed to a key marketing initiative within the judging period.
Submissions can be written or take the form of a short unlisted YouTube video and those shortlisted will be expected to attend a brief interview with the Engage Award judges on 22 March. Previous winners of this prestigious award include Fiona Marshall, head of marketing for womenswear at Asos.com and Gemma Howells, at the time a brand manager for Innocent.
