Aimed at tackling some of the challenges of the retail sphere in a dynamic and insightful way, Retail Therapy is a peer-to-peer discussion feature for marketers and agency experts.

Taking place within the Retail Zone at Marketing Week Live in June, Retail Therapy is made up of four round tables focussing on the core challenges retailers and consumer-facing brands experience today: social media application; multi-channel marketing; understanding consumer behaviour and how to effectively integrate mobile into your marketing campaign.

Agency-side specialists will host each table, conducting a lively discussion with visitors to the show.“There is so much to talk about on the subject of shoppers, and so much to learn from other businesses viewpoints, so we are really looking forward to some engaging and challenging sessions,” says Danielle Pinnington, managing director of Shopper Centric, which is hosting an open and interactive round table discussion on customer behaviour.

Other agency hosts and discussions include mobile marketing specialist Fetch on how you how to translate ‘real-world’ commercial objectives into innovative mobile solutions; digital communications expert Crowd Media on social media integration and creative digital agency Cool Pink on multi-channel marketing.

“Retail is no longer just about the shop floor and the rebranding of the previous In-store element of Marketing Week Live to Retail was largely due to the changing retail market,” says Paul MacDonald, director of Marketing Week Live. “The four challenges we’ve selected are the four main issues our audience was struggling with, so we created Retail Therapy to help give them agency advice on these subjects.”
