The Big Tweet campaign, created by charity Missing People, will adopt the OpenLoop digital technology to publish tweets directly to digital screens owned by members of the Outdoor Media Centre network including JCDecaux, CBS Outdoor, Primesight, Ocean Outdoor, and Amscreen.
Tweets and information about missing children will be streamed direct to digital billboards across the UK over a 24 hour period. Followers will be encouraged to retweet using the hashtag #BigTweet to raise awareness of the initiative and to help locate the children.
The campaign was organised by the Outdoor Media Centre and produced by Grand Visual.
Jo Youle, CEO of Missing People, says: “We are extremely excited about being able to extend our online activity for The Big Tweet for Missing Children onto digital billboards. This will expand the search for missing children to out of home audiences, driving awareness and participation.”
