The 21,000-seater venue, formerly known as the NYNEX and Manchester Evening News (MEN) Arena, and its tickets and website will be rebranded immediately.

The retailer’s latest #projectupgrade campaign messaging will feature heavily across the venue’s properties in the coming months.

The deal also means Phones 4U customers will now get exclusive access to competitions to win tickets for events held at the venue via its social media channels.

Scott Hooton, Phones 4U’s CCO, says the deal was struck because the mobile retailer was seeking to engage with a wider audience.

“The partnership is also particularly relevant considering the rapid convergence of the entertainment and mobile space and over time, will allow us to deliver a whole host of exclusive benefits to our customers,” he adds.
