Katy Perry named as the new face of Cover Girl
Covergirl has signed up singer Katy Perry as its latest ambassador, with her first cosmetics campaign for the beauty brand set to debut in spring 2014.
The first image of the campaign shows Perry wearing minimal make-up, although Covergirl promises the ads will showcase a “breadth of bold new beauty looks” devised by Covergirl’s global creative director, Pat McGrath. The tie-up coincides with the launch of Perry’s new album, Prism, which is set for release on 22 October.
