Monster pounces on Andrew Warner to lead European marketing

Recruitment website Monster has appointed Andrew Warner its lead marketer for Europe.

Monster has recruited Andrew Warner as its vp marketing for Europe.

The news comes ahead of Monster delivering its Q2 financial results tomorrow (5 August).

Warner will take the title vice president, chief of marketing for Europe and lead the charge against rival recruitment and career specialists like Totaljobs.com and LinkedIn.He takes up the responsibilities last handled by Philip Snalune and reports to global CMO Ted Gilvar.

He was previously senior marketing director EMEA for online travel business Expedia where he led the company’s brand repositioning and relaunch across 12 European territories.

He is also a former CMO UK & Ireland for LG Electronics.

Monster Worldwide is the parent company of Monster.com and operates in more than 40 territories. The company states that its mission is about more than finding a job but “to help people lead better lives”.

Mosnter unveiled a refreshed brand identity last month; it also launched two new social recruiting services as well as a new communications platform called Monster Talent CRM.

In February 2013 the company returned to TV and outdoor advertising in the UK to support the company’s global strapline “Find Better”.

Monster launched its first ever dedicated B2B marketing campaign last October spanning digital, print, social media, CRM, direct mail, PR and sponsored events.
