FIFA 15 ad looks to make fans ‘feel the game’

EA Sports this weekend launches the first TV ad for its FIFA 15 title, a spot that aims to make fans “feel the game”.

The global TV ad, created by Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, plunges gamers into the heart of the virtual field to depict how the latest game in the FIFA franchise is so immersive fans can “feel the emotion of every tackle, save and goal”.

The campaign kicks off with a 2 minute 15 second film, which will air during the broadcast of Manchester United versus Queens Park Rangers this Sunday (14 September).

Last week Electronic Arts hired Starbucks’ marketer Chris Bruzzo as its first CMO as the company looks to execute its strategy of becoming a “players first” developer.
