Tait, who writes regularly for Marketing Week, will replace Sarah Mansfield when he joins the company and “will focus on driving and delivering outstanding 360 communication for our brands across the UKI media landscape”, according to a Unilever spokesperson.
He left his post at Kellogg’s Dublin office in December after joining in January 2014 to oversee digital marketing strategy and operations for the EMEA region.
Prior to joining Kellogg’s, he was group head of e-commerce at Topshop parent Arcadia.
He has also held senior digital marketing and e-commerce positions at American Express and the Post Office and was a previous chair of ISBA’s digital, direct and data action group.
