On 12 November at 4.20pm, Sir John Hegarty and Torie Scoota, founder of ad tech company Scoota, will bid to give the world’s largest marketing lesson. Entitled ‘A lesson you can’t afford to ignore’ it will explore the evolving landscape of online advertising and how some creative industries have been slow to embrace technology.

An official Guinness World Records adjudicator will be at the Festival and will announce immediately afterwards if the attempt has been successful and hand over a certificate if so.

Astronaut Chris Hadfield, who is speaking on the headliner stage on 11 November, will also be presented with a certificate for the first music video filmed in space.

If you haven’t bought tickets to the Festival of Marketing there is still time! Taking place at Tobacco Dock next week (11 and 12 November) there will be more than 200 speakers across 12 stages as well as a chance to learn from the winners of this year’s Masters of Marketing awards.
