Budweiser maker Anheuser-Busch has teased two Super Bowls ads for its Bud-Light and Shock Top brands, which feature US comedians Seth Rogen, Amy Schumer and T.J. Miller.

The Bud Light teaser features Schumer jokingly rubbing Rogen’s back with lotion and is set to the slogan “the Bud Light party is coming”.

The Shock Top brand, meanwhile, shows Miller playfully interacting with an animated beer tap (yes, it’s as bizarre as it sounds). It is the brand’s first Super Bowl ad in its 10-year history.

Anheuser-Busch has been the official beer advertiser of the famous US-sporting event since 1975. And for this year’s event, the beer giant is running three and a half minutes worth of ads, also encompassing its Budweiser and Michelob Ultra brands.

Rising ad prices

Super Bowl broadcaster CBS is believed to be charging a record-breaking $5 million for a 30-second spot this year. And, according to Kantar Media, the average rate for a 30-second Super Bowl ad has risen by 76% during the past decade – reaching $4.4 million in 2015.

Perhaps rather unsurprisingly given the event’s history, this year’s Super Bowl ads are expected to be dominated by car brands.

Among the automotive brands planning one spot or more include Acura, Audi, Buick, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mini and Toyota.
