Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak to headline Festival of Marketing

Apple founder Steve Wozniak is joining the headline speaker line-up at this year’s Festival of Marketing, which takes place at Tobacco Dock on 5 and 6 October.

The event, organised by Marketing Week publisher Centaur Media, includes headliners such as Sir Martin Sorrell, alongside more than 200 additional speakers from brands including Tesco, Jaguar Land Rover and Mondelez.

Wozniak is a Silicon Valley icon having helped shaped the computing industry after founding Apple with Steve Jobs. He has also been involved in various business and philanthropic ventures focused on bringing computing to schools and is currently chief scientist at data virtualisation firm Primary Data.

At the festival, topics up for discussion include the icons that have inspired Wozniak, what it was really like working at Apple in the early days and his own vision for the future of technology and disruption.
