Unilever CMO Keith Weed joins headliners at Festival of Marketing

Weed joins a growing roster of brands, including Asda, Atom Bank and Pret, speaking at the event, which takes place on 5 and 6 October.

Unilever’s chief marketing and communications officer Keith Weed has joined the line-up for this year’s Festival of Marketing.

Weed will be taking to the headliner stage on Wednesday 5 October at 9.15am to discuss whether Unilever is the biggest digital start-up on the planet. During the talk, he will touch on how Unilever is harnessing new business models, its work with startups through Unilever Foundry and Unilever Ventures and why he thinks marketers must upskill in digital.

Weed joins a rapidly growing list of speakers at the Festival, including headliners Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and WPP CEO Sir Martin Sorrell and marketers from brands including Asda, Pret and Atom Bank. In total there will be more than 200 speakers across 12 stages.

The Festival will be accompanied by the Masters of Marketing Awards, taking place on the evening of 4 October. Comedian and actor Stephen Mangan has just been announced as the host for the evening and he will be giving out the awards to the winners on the night.
