Marketing Week wins ‘Digital Brand of the Year’

Marketing Week beat titles including NME, Cosmopolitan and Campaign to win the prestigious publishing award.

Marketing Week has won ‘Digital Brand of the Year’ at this year’s PPA Digital awards, fighting off competition from titles including NME, The Debrief, Cosmopolitan and Campaign.

The judges praised the “hugely impressive entry”, which they said demonstrated great innovation and diversification.

Marketing Week has put huge focus on really understanding marketers’ needs over the past year, having relaunched the website with a new purpose to deliver content that enables marketers to be better at their job and more confident leaders. The brand also launched new products, including the Mini MBA in Marketing taught by professor Mark Ritson.

The judges highlighted the great response these changes have received. “An excellent entry with great metrics and terrific feedback,” added one judge, “making you really want to support this brilliant brand”.

Russell Parsons, the editor of Marketing Week, says: “This win is a massive testament to the talent, imagination and hard work put in by the Marketing Week team. We will continue to serve the needs of our audience as the only UK title dedicated to marketers and their careers.”

The PPA Digital Awards 2017 are the premier celebration of digital talent among UK publishers in business and magazine media.
