4oD to run ad campaign for Freeview HD

Channel 4 is launching an ad campaign across its TV-on-demand service 4oD to promote Freeview HD for the World Cup.


The campaign, which starts on 9 June, will include a three-day home-page take-over.

It will also include HD Day on 16 June, when users will be able to stream a range of shows on their computers in HD for one day.

The broadcaster will launch a content hub for Freeview on the 4oD site, featuring Channel 4 shows such as Peep Show, Derren Brown and Trigger Happy TV, and online competitions.

Channel 4 worked with media agency MEC to develop the campaign.
