A Day in the Life of: Nick Agha

Its all been an amazing ride especially with all the club stuff but off the top of my head, my best day was probably when we took on the Blair Witch Project Campaign sometime in 2001.

What keeps you busy all day?
Managing Operations and staff in London and five other countries across the world.

What keeps you awake at night?
Everything I need to do the following day, month, the year and next five years.

Describe your working day:
Chairing new business meetings, checking proposals chairing international franchise conference meeting, sourcing new poster artists, organising visiting clients, inducting and interviewing new staff and analysing the business plan.

What’s your busiest time of day?
I am always busy but probably the morning because I wake up all night adding to a list as long as your arm that needed to happen yesterday.

What brands/accounts have you worked on?
I am working on Miller and Smirnoff campaigns at the moment but this is unusual as I am no longer an Account Director. When I was responsible for a lot of major music labels as well as film companies but Don’t Panic has worked with all the major brands you can think of. Don’t Panic is where brands come to communicate with youth culture..

Best day at work:
I love Mondays. Probably every time I see another zero on a PO total! Although I ‘m sure you mean best day ever. It’s all been an amazing ride especially with all the club stuff but off the top of my head, probably when we took on the Blair Witch Project Campaign sometime in 2001.

Worst day at work:
When I realise that I’ve got someone working for me who isn’t right for the job.

Name one thing you’ve achieved that has made your bosses sit up and take notice:
I don’t have any bosses but I try to make sure everyone I meet sits up and takes notice.

Advice to other rising stars:
Be focused and organised and don’t hang about making decisions..
