Online performance advertising network Miva Media has been acquired by Adknowledge.
The purchase is of the media division of Miva Inc, including the Miva, Findwhat.com and Espotting brands. Miva Direct will continue to be owned and operated by Miva Inc.
Scott Lynn, CEO of Adknowledge, said, “We believe that combining the scale and technology of Adknowledge with Miva Media will make the business a must-buy for many advertisers looking for marketing alternatives to Google and Yahoo.”
Peter Corrao, president and CEO of Miva Inc, said, “We believe the transaction will further extend Adknowledge’s reach at a time when many advertisers are looking to focus their marketing spend on more measurable, performance-based channels.”
Adknowledge has already completed four acquisitions in the past 18 months including Cubics, Lookery, Adonomics.com and Mediarun.
