Adshel puts the record straight

I write to correct misleading claims attributed to our competitor in the article “Decaux takes control of Leicester bus shelters”, (MW last week).

In London, Adshel controls the bus shelter advertising market with 75 per cent of the six-sheet roadside market, with sites in every london borough. Crucially, Adshel is the sole bus shelter contractor in four out of the five Central London boroughs.

Nationally, Adshel is the clear six-sheet market leader with 85 per cent of the UK’s councils including Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Derby, Liverpool, Newcastle and Sheffield.

My final point is to refer your readers to October’s Postar figures which give Adshel a 65 per cent share of national roadside six-sheet advertising.
